If your dog is losing appetite, see if it is related to any health problem. If your dog is getting to his golden age, aging and change in physical conditions might also affect his appetite. Old dogs might feel not interested in eating. You could moisten the food in small piece with water, or add canned food or broth to his food which add more favor and enhance their interest to eat.
